Rashmika discusses Chhaava.
Rashmika acknowledged in a series of images and videos from the Chhaava shoot that she had never considered a south Indian to play Maharani Yesubai. She wrote, “A girl from the south plays Maharani Yesubai.” That was never on my radar… I once believed it was out of reach, which is why I value collaborating with those who push us to see possibilities beyond our boundaries.

She portrayed her character like this: ‘At that moment, the maharani emerged, radiating magnificence.’ With untamed strength, commanding power, and effortless elegance, she reigns as a sovereign in her own right. Her love is the love to which I can fully relate; it is so pure, heavenly, respectful, and true that Maharaj and Maharani are always bonded beyond words.”
