Vidaamuyarchi Movie Reviews, Ratings, and Release Dates: Ajith Kumar’s highly anticipated flick Vidaamuyarchi was released in theaters on February 6. The Tamil Nadu government has also granted permission for the film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, to screen at 9 a.m.
Set in the scenic landscapes of Azerbaijan, the film features an ensemble cast including Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Vijay Ramya. Anirudh Ravichander, renowned for his work on Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Darbar, has crafted the soundtrack for this film. The Tamil action-drama has been accorded U/A certificate by CBFC. Vidaamuyarchi is slated to have a big opening with an estimated box office revenue of Rs 40 crore.
The release of Vidaamuyarchi was initially planned for January 2025 but had to be delayed due to “unavoidable circumstances.” As reported by Koimoi, the film’s budget stands at Rs 200 crore, with Ajith Kumar’s remuneration falling between Rs 110 and 120 crore. Meanwhile, Sacnilk states that the movie has already amassed Rs 8.86 crore in advance bookings, having sold approximately 4-8 lakh tickets for 5,863 screenings.
