Saif Ali Khan’s team has provided an official update on the actor’s condition following his injury in a break-in attempt at his home on Thursday.
Saif Ali Khan’s team has issued an official statement regarding the actor’s health and what occurred at his and Kareena Kapoor’s home in the early hours of Thursday during an alleged break-in. Saif is currently in Bandra’s Lilavati Hospital receiving emergency surgery.

The official statement from Saif’s publicist reads: “There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan’s home. He is presently undergoing surgery in the hospital. We kindly request the media and fans to remain patient during this time. The situation is being handled by the police. We’ll keep you updated on the situation.”
Saif Ali Khan was hurt during a break-in attempt at his and Kareena’s home at 2:30 a.m., according to police sources. Kareena and Saif, who have been married since 2012, reside at the Satguru Sharan building in Mumbai’s Bandra West. The couple shares two sons, Taimur, aged 8, and Jeh, aged 4, who reside with them. The police are currently investigating the matter, and no arrests have been made so far.
The scope of Saif Ali Khan’s injuries
Saif was sent to Lilavati Hospital nearby for treatment of his injuries. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, mentioned, “Saif has sustained six injuries, with two being critical.” One of the injuries is near his spine. We are performing surgery on him. He is being operated on by neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain, and anesthetist Nisha Gandhi. We shall learn the degree of the harm only after the surgery is completed.”
Dr. Uttamani stated that there is one neck injury that is also being evaluated. He stated that operation began at 5:30 a.m. and continued until 8:30 a.m.
