Rifle Club OTT release: Following a theatrical run of less than a month, Aashiq Abu’s Malayalam thriller Rifle Club, which stars an ensemble cast, has been released on OTT. The movie serves as Anurag Kashyap’s first venture into Malayalam cinema and introduces Hanumankind from Big Dawgs in his first acting role. It is currently streaming on Netflix.

Rifle Club was authored by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Suhas. Abu serves as the director, co-producer, and cinematographer for the film. In addition to Anurag and Hanumankind, the film features Vijayaraghavan, Darshana Rajendran, Dileesh Pothan, Vani Viswanath, Suresh Krishna, Vineeth Kumar, and Surabhi Lakshmi. Abu crafted the movie as an homage to Western cinema, infused with an Indian twist.

Rifle Club’s Story
Rifle Club is about a gunfight between two groups: an arms dealer’s gang and members of a shooting club in Wayanad. After getting into difficulties with the son of an arms dealer and fleeing to seek the assistance of a superstar, two young people are provided shelter in a rifle club. As the gang chases them, the club utilizes its skills to safeguard the youngsters.

Surabhi, who also appears in the movie, shared a video of Anurag on Instagram, emphasizing how the world could use more of his humor and eccentricity. She praised him as a groundbreaking filmmaker and expressed how much of a privilege and joy it was to be in his company.
