R Madhavan:- ‘I’m terribly insecure about my financial account’

Actor R Madhavan also admitted that he used to keep track of his bank balance using his passbook at first. The actor confessed on an episode of Mashable’s Dubai Journey series, which was presented by Rannvijay Singha.

In the backdrop of his recently released film Hisaab Barabar, Madhavan stated, “I’m very concerned about my bank account.” I’m not sure how much I have or how much I can afford to examine it, because I’m not sure what will happen. I have a broad idea of (how much I own).”

The actor also discussed owning a boat and acquiring his captain’s license. He continued, “I have a simple, tiny boat that is adequate for the family. But I’ve always wanted to acquire my captain’s license. I aim to make each year count by acquiring a new skill. During COVID, I acquired my captain’s license and learnt to navigate a boat. It’s not that difficult. You study for 10-15 days, take examinations and practicals, and they provide you a licence.”

In a recent interview, Madhavan stated that his wife, Sarita, believes he is careless with money. “I am not very careful about my spending, but I always live within my means. If I want a bigger car or better stuff, but it does not fit my budget, I will not buy it.” I have no worldly goods, which reflects my stardom. “But I’m grateful for the independence that fame allows,” he shared with Just Too Filmy.
