Kingdom Teaser and Title Reveal
The teaser opens by placing the audience in the midst of a war. Set by the sea, the fight appears to have killed a large number of people on both sides. Jr NTR’s voiceover suggests that all of this is to raise a new hero.
While nothing is known about Vijay’s role, he is shown fighting someone with a police shield covering him in one scene. A different picture captures him in a jail setting, dressed in prison attire, surrounded by fellow inmates. It concludes with his character proclaiming, “I will do anything needed, sir, including destroying everything.” Kingdom will open in theaters on May 30.
Kingdom, directed by Gowtam, is described as an action thriller. In July of last year, two photographs of Vijay from the film were released online. One image showed him riding pillion on a bike at the beach, shot from a distance. Another captured him looking into the camera during a village festival.
The first image was captured during an outside shot, and the second was leaked from a monitor on site. He looks rough in both photos, with short hair and a beard. Following the online leak of certain images, the production team released a poster featuring the lead actor, requesting fans to remain calm and refrain from spreading false information. The film’s music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Naga Vamsi serving as the producer under the Sithara Entertainment banner.
After Taxiwaala, Vijay has another project with Rahul Sankrithyan, a historical drama called VD 14. Further information regarding the film is eagerly anticipated.
