Sandeep Kewlani refuted the claims made against Sky Force and Chhaava.
The box office collection of Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force has been under scrutiny when trade analyst Komal Nahta accused the film’s producers of restricting bookings in order to artificially boost the film’s box office figures. The director of the film has now come forward to deny the allegations.
What were the accusations?
In a video, Komal accused the producers of Akshay and Veer Pahariya’s film Sky Force of renting out theaters in order to give a positive picture of the film’s box-office performance. Komal leveled a similar charge against another Maddock Films project, Chhaava, which stars Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna.

Sandeep defends.
Sandeep Kewlani refuted all claims against both Maddock films. He stated that a film’s collection is unimportant in the long term.
Sandeep stressed that the success of films like as “Chhaava” and “Sky Force” is due to genuine public appreciation rather than manufactured box office data. He stated that even weeks after publishing, he continues to receive daily great feedback from viewers. Sandeep feels that a film’s long-term influence and the emotions it elicits are more important than its earnings, as box office figures are often forgotten over time. He challenged the industry’s reliance on financial metrics, suggesting that revealing earnings could lead audiences to equate revenue with quality. Rather, he advocates for viewers to assess a film’s worth without being influenced by box office figures.
Block booking is a process in which a production company or performer purchases a large number of tickets for a film.
