Saif Ali Khan’s attacker, armed with a stick and a sharp razor, demanded ₹1 crore (approx. ₹10 million) from his workers.
More information concerning the attempted burglary of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Mumbai house has surfaced.the attack occurred in his son’s Jeh room, when the actor engaged the robber head on to protect his family.
Fresh information has come to light.
According to the magazine, a nurse employed by Saif Ali Khan and his wife gave a horrifying testimony to the Bandra Police, revealing how the burglar violently entered their home, demanded ₹1 crore, and then attacked both her and Saif.
The incident occurred about 2 a.m., while the family and workers were asleep.Eliyama Philip, a 56-year-old nurse working at the facility, has disclosed the details of the event.
She characterized the intruder as a man in his late 30s, with a slender build and dark skin. She alleged that he “entered the bedroom where Saif Ali Khan’s son, Jeh, was sleeping”. The nurse states that the attacker was carrying a stick and a razor blade. He sought Rs. 1 crore from her.When she declined, he hit her, causing injuries to her wrist and hands.
The noise awoke the second nanny, Junu, who sounded an alarm, prompting Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor to rush to the scene.
To protect his family, Saif confronted the invader, but was hurt in the process. Another staff member, Geeta, was hurt while attempting to interfere to defend the family. The assailants escaped the scene prior to the arrival of reinforcements.
However, joint commissioner Satya Narayan Chaudhary refuted the claim that the invader sought ₹1 crore, citing it as a theft case. Dixit Gedam, DCP Zone 9 of the Mumbai Police, who is part of the team probing the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, stated that one of the offenders has been identified.
“It was determined that the accused used the fire escape to get into their house.At this point, the inquiry suggests that a burglary attempt took place. We are putting forth all efforts to capture the suspect as promptly as possible. Further details will be shared once the individual is in custody. One accused has been named. He entered via the stairs, and squads were stationed on the field to apprehend him. There are ten detection teams working in various directions,” he said.
Saif is in hospital.
Following the event, Saif’s team rushed him to Lilavati Hospital via auto rickshaw. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the hospital’s COO, later informed the press that the actor had suffered six injuries, two of which were particularly severe. A surgery was undertaken to remove the knife from near his spine.
He sustained six injuries, two minor, two intermediate, and two deep; one of the injuries is on the back, near the spine… Saif suffered a serious thoracic spine injury from a knife…The physicians performed surgery to remove the knife and fix the leaking spinal fluid.
The plastic surgery team healed two serious wounds on his left hand and right side of neck. He was stable and not in danger.
