Dhoom Dhaam review:- Yami Gautam Dhar, Pratik Gandhi’s comedic thriller is okay; needs more excitement to be a blast.

A couple on the run for their lives, with others following them—I’ve just detailed one of the most prevalent plotlines in Hindi cinema. Making your video amusing is one way to set it out from the crowd. Either a whole thriller, a comedy, or both, but something that makes it feel new. Unfortunately, Dhoom Dhaam is unable to pull any of it off.

What is Dhoom Dhaam about?
In Dhoom Dhaam, directed by Rishab Seth, Koyal (Yami Gautam Dhar) and Veer (Pratik Gandhi) enter an arranged marriage. On their wedding night, two men knock on their door, searching for someone named Charlie. The duo successfully delays their pursuers and makes a getaway. The movie begins with promise, showcasing Yami’s shift from a shy young woman to a daring car racer with a penchant for colorful language, adding an element of amusement. Unfortunately, this appeal wanes as the narrative progresses. A particular monologue about women’s suffering in a patriarchal world feels out of place, especially during a chase scene. Similarly, Pratik’s portrayal of a man with multiple phobias is initially humorous but becomes overextended by the climax.

Despite multiple red herrings, seasoned thriller spectators will find the tale lacking in surprise, suggesting a need to rediscover classic mystery storytelling tactics.

Dhoom Dhaam is streaming on Netflix today.
