Despite this, Ishani is still a courageous and happy child. One night, a ghostly figure enters Ishani’s room, enticing her away like a possessed doll. When Sakshi arrives home, Ishani has left. Desperate, she appeals to Inspector Samar for assistance. Their search takes them back to the hamlet she vowed never to visit. Sakshi and Samar confront ancient terrors in the maze-like sugarcane fields. Sakshi is separated by a malevolent force and encounters someone she thought was dead, only to be struck down and left comatose. She awakens in a subterranean cave where the locals revere an evil deity. Daasi, the shape-shifting priestess, declares Ishani’s sacrifice in three days. Sakshi needs to stop the rite and save her daughter before it’s too late.
