Atishi claims Centre’snatched away’ her official house:- BJP says ‘Delhi CM’ is lying.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi accused the Centre of canceling the allotment of the CM house via a letter.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said on Tuesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre expelled her from the official chief minister’s house, only one day before the Election Commission released the timetable for the capital’s assembly elections.

The schedule for the Delhi elections was released today. For the second time in three months, the BJP-led central government evicted me from my official house as Chief Minister last night. They revoked the assignment of the CM house with a letter and took it away from an elected CM of an elected government,” Atishi told.

The Delhi assembly election timetable has been announced. Live updates.

The Chief Minister intensified her criticism of the BJP, stating, “They pulled a similar stunt just three months ago.” She recalled how, upon being elected Chief Minister, her belongings and those of her family were thrown onto the streets. She accused the BJP of trying to derail her efforts by confiscating her home, attacking her family, and making derogatory remarks. However, she reassured the people of Delhi, affirming that their work would persist regardless of the loss of her home.

Atishi’s charges were confirmed by her cabinet colleague Saurabh Bharadwaj, who stated, “The BJP does not care about working for the people of Delhi.” They do not care if children have an education or if folks have access to energy. Their sole focus seems to be taking action against AAP leaders.

We could not have predicted what the BJP did today. The BJP has once again removed Delhi Chief Minister Atishi’s possessions from his official residence. You must recall when they did it before. I doubt this would have happened anywhere else in the globe.”

The BJP reacts to Atishi’s claims.
Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP’s IT cell, disputed Atishi’s claims, saying, “Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena is LYING. She was assigned SheeshMahal on October 11, 2024. She has not yet occupied it because she does not want to insult Arvind Kejriwal. As a result, the allotment was revoked, and she was awarded two additional bungalows instead.

Malviya shared a purported letter issued by the Delhi government’s Public Works Department, which stated, “Under these circumstances and aforesaid reasons, the offer of allotment of Bungalow No. 6, Flag Staff Road, issued to Ms. Atishi, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Delhi vide letter no F.A(6 Flag Staff Road)PWD&H/2024/1472-73 dated 11-10-2024 by Public Works Department Secretariat, Govt. of NCT of Delhi stands withdrawn, with immediate effect.”

In light of the withdrawal of the offer letter dated 11.10.2024, PWD proposes to offer two bungalows, bungalow No. 2 at 8 Raj Niwas Lane, Civil Lines, New Delhi and bungalow No. 115 at Ansari Road, Daryaganj, New Delhi, from which one will be chosen, for which a separate ‘offer letter’ will be issued to Ms. Atishi, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Delhi.”

The Delhi assembly election timetable has been set.
The Election Commission said on Tuesday that the Delhi assembly election will be held in a single phase on February 5 and the results will be revealed on February 8.

The election will take place in a single phase. During a press conference, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar mentioned that scheduling the polls on a Wednesday was intended to boost voter participation, following the example of Maharashtra.
