Earlier today, Anil Kapoor resorted to social media to mark a landmark milestone in his cinematic career: the 44th anniversary of his film Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya. M.S. Sathyu helmed the film as its director.

Anil Kapoor holds a deep appreciation for this movie, crediting it as a pivotal milestone that shaped his journey in the film industry. His exceptional portrayal in the project played a key role in propelling him to stardom.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Kapoor reminisced about the creative influences that guided his artistic path. He also honored legendary Hollywood icons Marlon Brando and James Dean for leaving an indelible mark on his acting style.

Discussing Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya, he lauded the skilled team behind the camera—especially cinematographer Ishan Arya and photographer Nemai Ghosh—whose work preserved some of the most iconic moments from the production.

The caption stated, “When I began training as an actor, I was inspired by Marlon Brando’s A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) and James Dean’s Rebel Without a Cause (1955).” Their presence was always at the back of my mind—guiding, influencing, and inspiring. On the job front, Anil Kapoor will next appear in Subedaar, his first collaboration with filmmaker Suresh Triveni. The film will be available on Prime Video; the release date has yet to be revealed.
