Three People Arrested in Relation to the Death of a Fan at Pushpa 2: The Rule Premiere

Following the unfortunate murder of a fan at the premiere of *Pushpa 2: The Rule*, Hyderabad police have reportedly detained the Sandhya Theater’s owner, manager, and security chief.

On Sunday, December 8, law enforcement detained three suspects: security manager Gandhakam Vijay Chander, manager M. Nagaraju, and theater owner M. Sandeep. The case was filed under Sections 105, 118(1), and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

What took place?
*Pushpa 2: The Rule* had a special premiere at RTC X Roads in Hyderabad on December 4. Along with co-star Rashmika Mandanna and his spouse, Allu Sneha Reddy, actor Allu Arjun was present at the ceremony. But according to the police, neither the performer nor the theater’s administration told them about the visit beforehand.

When the actor arrived, there was mayhem as fans hurried to see him. Unfortunately, this resulted in a rush, and Revathi, 35, was killed. During the chaos, she and her tiny kid passed out. Her son was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, while Revathi was declared deceased. Both victims were rushed to the hospital after police performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

A case was filed under the appropriate IPC sections against Allu Arjun, his security detail, and the theater management in response to a complaint from the deceased’s relatives.

Allu Arjun Offers Compensation
In response to the incident, Allu Arjun offered ₹25 lakh as compensation for the family and vowed to cover the boy’s medical bills. * “The ₹25 lakh I have offered is just to show my solidarity with them,” he said in an apology to the family during a press conference in Hyderabad on Saturday. I will see them after they get well, but I don’t want to interrupt their grief. I will do everything in my power to help them, even though I know I will never be able to make up for their loss.*
