Khan Sir, who has a sizable student following, backed the candidates who were demonstrating. After the protest, his health deteriorated further, leading to his hospitalization. His close colleagues had to take him to the hospital after he became dehydrated, stressed, and exhausted.
Spread Arrest Rumors
In the evening after the demonstrations, during which students were charged with batons, there were allegations that Khan Sir had been arrested. DSP Anu Kumari subsequently denied these reports. But Khan Sir’s condition deteriorated as a result of the scenario, which increased his stress levels. He had a high fever and dehydration, according to the doctors. He was momentarily placed on oxygen support and has been receiving particular care since Saturday.
Following a series of tests, doctors said on Sunday that he might be granted discharge today.
